Nad Jom Water Wheel Installation, Consecration & Pond Beautification

  • Trinlay Khachöd Ling 154 Lost Clove Road Big Indian, NY, 12410 United States (map)

This coming week starting on Thursday, April 25th to Sunday the 28th, we will be volunteering to commence Bodhivastu’s spring and summer activities by coming together and working towards completing several projects.

Your participation is Bodhicitta in action— Generating merit for yourself by benefitting others (through creating the supports and circumstances for beings now and in the future to meet and practice the Dharma).

It is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in an environment of Dharma, and engage with likeminded people abiding in a meditative state.

This year, the year of the wood dragon, will be a strong year of activities for the Bodhivastu Sangha. We are moving forward full force, strengthening the roots and life-force of our mandala so that we can continue to be a stable source of refuge for beings now, and long into the future.

We will be hosting several events, retreats, undertaking intensive practices, and having precious lamas visiting. Now is the perfect time to take the opportunity to join in whenever possible and participate in planting these seeds of vast merit to make all of this possible.

Lugyal Pemai Phodrang is the prophesied name given to this project by the Nyingmapa protective deity Tsiu Marpo which blesses the surrounding area as an unsurpassable support for stability in our turbulent world. Therefore, participation in this project on any level will bring such stability into our lives.

Projects for this upcoming volunteer week:

  1. Installation of special water powered disease subduing prayer wheels (Nad Jom Khorlos).

  2. Repair of the Vishnu statue’s leg

  3. Pond work such as boundary wall

  4. Grounds keeping

Daily Practice:

  1. Morning Riwo Sangchöd (Fire puja)

  2. Evening Vajrakilaya

Accommodations available.

Come be a part of it for yourself and others.
