Join us at Trinlay Khachöd Ling in Big Indian, NY for calm abiding practices of the Dudjom Tersar Tradition led by John Halpern. The practices are based on the wisdom and compassion teachings of the Tibetan Buddhist Dzogchen Lineage.

About John Halpern:
John began his meditation study and practice in 1982 with the renowned Dzogchen master Dudjom Rinpoche, as well as Khenchen Palden Sherab and Khenchen Tsewang Dongyal. He continued his studies with Dungse Shenphen Dawa Norbu Rinpoche, up until Rinpoche’s passing in 2017.
At Shenphen Dawa Rinpoche’s request, in 2009, John began teaching meditation classes at Yeshe Nyingpo, the Dudjom Buddhist center in New York City along with Kenneth Frey, a craniosacral master therapist. Since then John branched out to lead immersive group retreats and Naked Mind - a weekly meditation class in Union Square, NYC.
In addition to his role as a meditation guide, John is an international award winning artist and independent filmmaker of over 50 years, known for large-scale interactive public art, cultural activism, socially and environmentally engaged practice, and theatrically released art films and documentaries.
